Mediasite’s NEW Premier Player

The new Premier Player is an innovative video player that offers enhanced functionality for video viewing with new features and capabilities to customize captions, organize content, and support immersive experiences for your audiences.  The Premier Player has been built for extensibility, and we are excited about the engaging enhancements that will be possible, such as 360° video playback.

This modernized video player benefits your team by offering:

• The ability to support multiple captions, transcripts, and audio descriptions.
• Viewer customized captioning to maximize user accessibility.
• Significantly more efficient video load time.
• Automatically hidden player controls so viewers can remain focused on the video content.

Viewer Captioning Customization

Mediasite’s Premier Player will be the default player across the entire Mediasite platform with the release of MVP version 8.12. Just sit back and enjoy an enhanced user experience while retaining any existing customization (such as banner images).

360° Video Support

With the addition of the New Premier Player, Mediasite is now compatible with 360° video presentations! 360° video opens the door to an entire dimension of new possibilities for engaging and immersive content.

Depreciation of Publish to Go

With the addition of the new Premier Player in MVP 8.12, the Publish to Go function has been removed.

There continues to be several ways to export your content out of Mediasite Video Platform.
