The content storage report is an incredibly useful tool to get a snapshot of what presentations are taking up space on your server. Using the storage report, it is possible to remove unwanted and unneeded content with just a few clicks. Before running the actual report and managing content, it is necessary to create a report with the desired settings you would like to view and manage.
Create and Run the Storage Report
Create a Storage Report
The content storage report is accessed in the Management portal by going to Analytics > Content Storage.
To create a new report:
- Click the Add New button
- Enter a Title and Description
- Choose the date range for the report
- Select a date type
- Add Recurrence to create an auto-run report
- Choose Options: This will exclude certain presentations from the report
- Choose Filters
- Click Save or Run
Run the Storage Report
The content storage report is found in the Management portal by going to Analytics > Content Storage. If there are no reports created, you will first need to create a report in the previous lesson. To run the content storage report:
- Select the name of the report you would like to run
- Select Run and Choose a date range
