After completing the initial Mediasite Join configuration in the previous lesson, it’s time to set up the appropriate Folder, Stream Groups, Templates and Media Import project for importing your recorded calls.

This part of the configuration will be performed in the Mediasite Management Portal.

Create a Folder for Mediasite Join Recordings

1. Log into the Mediasite Management Portal as an Administrator
2. Create a new folder that will store your Mediasite Join recordings (e.g. Mediasite Join)

Create a Stream Group for Mediasite Join Recordings

To create a Stream Group for your Mediasite Join recordings:

1. Log into the Mediasite Management Portal as an Administrator
2. Click: Recording > Stream Groups
3. Click: Add New
4. Configure a stream group with a Video 1 and Video 2 stream
5. Pick an appropriate Encoding setting for each stream
6. Click: Save

Create a Template for Mediasite Join Recordings

In order to create a new Template that will be used for your Mediasite Join recordings:

1. Log into the Mediasite Management Portal as an Administrator
2. Click: Content
3. Select your recently created folder for Mediasite Join recordings (e.g. Mediasite Join)
4. Create a new Template that will be used exclusively for Mediasite Join recordings

Create a New Media Import Project

1. Log into the Mediasite Management Portal as an Administrator
2. Click: Settings > Media Import
3. Click: Add
4. Create a new Media Import Project using the following settings:
