Watch a Mediasite Video within Open LMS
An instructor has the option to embed Mediasite Video Presentations in two different places within Open LMS. This makes it incredibly easy to browse, search and watch video content from any device
Mediasite Video Channel
Videos that are recorded from your lecture or created by your instructor may be added to a video channel. This channel is available within the navigation menu of your Open LMS course.
To watch a Mediasite video that is part of the course channel:
- Open the course from the Open LMS home page
- Select the Course dashboard within the course
- Click Mediasite Videos to open the channel
- Select the video you would like to view
- Begin playback

Another method for playing a video that your instructor may take advantage of is to embed the Mediasite video directly within the course page or lesson.
To watch a video that is embedded with the course:
- Open the course from the Open LMS home page
- Navigate to the desired section
- Click the video to begin playback
