Even though recorders are automatically added to Monitor when the Mediasite Server connection is added, there may be times when you manually need to add a new recorder. This could happen when a new recorder is purchased, or one is accidentally removed from Monitor. Adding a recorder is quite simple and will require that you have either the recorder hostname or URL.
Adding a Recorder to Mediasite Monitor
Adding a recorder to Mediasite Monitor is a simple task that may need to be done on occasion.
- Open the Recorder Panel in Mediasite Monitor.
- Click + on the tool bar.
- Enter the recorders Name or IP address.
- Enter the recorder admin User Credentials.
- Add the recorder to a group if any have been created.
- Click Save to add the recorder.
