Using groups only works when recorders are added to the group to create a collection. Adding recorders to a group can be done by either editing the recorder or simply drag and drop.

The simple method to add recorders to a group is to drag and drop the recorder into the desired group. However recorders can also be added to a group manually through editing or when adding a recorder.

1. Open the recorder panel in Mediasite Monitor
2. Click … and then select Edit Recorder
3. From the dropdown choose the desired group
4. Click Save to move the recorder to the selected group.
