To ease some of the management for a large deployment of recorders Mediasite Monitor has a group feature. This allows you to create a collection of recorders based on a specific building or department.

Within Mediasite Monitor there are two methods to create a group

1. Open the settings panel
2. Click + on the Recorder Group section
3. Enter the group Name
4. Click Save to create the Recorder Group

From the Recorder Panel

1. Open the Recorder panel
2. Click … on any recorder and go to Edit Recorder
3. Click + on the Group section to open the Group settings
4. Enter the group Name
5. Click Save to create the group
