Zoom Webinar Import

The Mediasite Zoom integration has been enhanced in MVP 8.5. Along with the previous ability to import your Zoom meeting cloud recordings, Mediasite has added the ability to import Zoom webinars into Mediasite and create as presentations.

Third-party RTMP Sources

Mediasite Version 8.5 has brought in support for third-party RTMP sources. Mediasite allows you to stream live presentations, using RTMP, from third-party streaming services such as OBS Studio and Wirecast Go. Once you add the presentation, you will specify the stream key and Server URL on the streaming service. You are then ready to stream live. You can share the link with your audience or include it in a channel. Your audience can then view the live stream in Mediasite Player the same way they would with other presentations.

Scheduling Mosaic Pro* Recordings (Limited Availability)

Support for scheduling Mosaic Pro* recordings had been added in Mediasite 8.5. Use Management Portal to create schedules for users recording presentations on their desktop using Mosaic. The schedule and the presentations created with it will be associated with the user profile and will be visible to the user when they log into Mosaic. Like recording with a hardware Recorder, using a schedule automates the presentation creation process for Mosaic users using pre-defined presentation properties. Once the recording is complete, the user can upload their presentation to My Mediasite manually or automatically.
