Once groups/roles are imported, it is time to give permission to content within Mediasite. This is accomplished by managing and adjusting the security of a folder or presentation on the content tab of the Management portal. By granting security permissions to a role, you are allowing the group of individuals with that role access to the content.

Securing Content for SSO Users
Giving a group or role access to content means that you will have to adjust the security permission of a folder or presentation. This is accomplished on a folder in the Management portal by:
- Selecting the Content Tab
- Right Click on the Folder and select Security or, Select the folder and choose Folder Options > Security
- Ensure Inherit permissions from parent folder is not selected
- In the add people or groups text field, enter the name of the role you would like to give permission
- Select the level of access permission the role should have
- Click the Add button
- Select the newly added role to verify and adjust the allowed permissions
While the above steps are for a folder, the process is the same to grant access and change permissions on an individual presentation.
