Single Sign on is a common and efficient log in experience for users. For Single Sign on to work there must be a third-party identity provider in the background linked to several systems, accounts or platforms. When an end user goes to one of the connected platforms, i.e. Mediasite they would be redirected to a log in page where they enter their credentials. The identity provider confirms the log in is correct and sends the user back to the platform. As the name implies, because the user has been confirmed by the identity provider they will not need to enter their credentials again when accessing a linked system.
